Sarah

I S.P.E.A.K Founder

Sarah has worked in the public school system as a Special Education Teacher, Special Education Department Chair, and Instructional Mentor for many years.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Education.  Her experiences working within the public school and collaborating with parents led her to become impassioned about real advocacy and empowering all IEP members to partner with her on each child's journey.  This carries over into her work here at I. SPEAK Resources..

She is proud to have created kindness and inclusion programming in her school in 2017.  Creating a curriculum focused on kindness to self, kindness to others, kindness to animals and kindness to the earth, Sarah later partnered with members of the community to implement the programming throughout her district.  More schools are adopting the curriculum and mission of this programming.

Shelly

I S.P.E.A.K Business Manager

Shelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and has over 20 years experience working in a facility with seniors and adults, many with disabilities, where she held a management position.  Her experience benefits our team on both the business logistics side and the relationship-building side.

"My goal is to build relationships that benefit the individuals and families we serve at I SPEAK Resources.  Helping manage social media accounts and disseminate information is very important in terms of spreading our message in places it is needed most."

Gil

I S.P.E.A.K. Producer, Editor, & Audio Engineer

Gil has a degree in Music Education from Bowling Green State University and is a proud Drum Corps alumni, having marched for both Crossmen and Glassmen, performing all across the country. This experience was an important one in developing a deep understanding of teamwork and the power of each team member using their individual expertise to create something magical.

Gil's degree and love of music drew him to the music industry. He is an experienced audio engineer with over a decade of experience working on Beale Street in Memphis. Gil has worked with musical legends BB King, Charles 'Skip' Pitts, Beal Street legend Preston Shannon, as well as a lot of up-and-coming artists. A favorite experience each year was being a part of The Annual Blues Challenge where people from all over the world came to compete. His favorite part was working with the youth participants and celebrating their amazing talent.
